阿联酋环球铝业拟将几内亚铝土矿首船样品运往中国

据《阿拉伯商业》11月23日报道，阿联酋环球铝业公司（Emirates Global Aluminium, EGA）首席执行官Abdulla Kalban先生向媒体表示，EGA计划将几内亚铝土矿首船样品运往中国。

阿联酋环球铝业公司在几内亚注册成立的公司名为Guinea Alumina Corporation,GAC。 GAC在几内亚博凯大区Sangarédie获得了一处铝土矿开采权。

阿联酋环球铝业公司计划投资50亿美元，分二期进行基础设施建设，基础设施包括：矿区、港口、铁路升级改造、氧化铝厂等。

第一期计划2018年第四季度完工，实现出矿。计划年出口高品质铝土矿1200万吨。

在几内亚开采的铝土矿一部分运回阿联酋，用于供应阿联酋环球铝业公司在迪拜的电解铝厂；另一部分计划出口到亚洲，中国是阿联酋环球铝业公司几内亚矿区项目主要的未来出口目的地。

Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) is in the process of loading its first sample shipment of bauxite from its Guinea mine to China, the chief executive officer said on Tuesday.

The state-owned company is constructing a $5 billion complex which will include a bauxite mine, alumina refinery and a port. The marine facility opened in October.

The mine is expected to produce 12 million tonnes of bauxite a year when commercial operations begin in the fourth quarter of 2018, Abdulla Kalban told an industry event.

It will supply the aluminium ore for EGA's primary production facilities in the United Arab Emirates, with some of the bauxite to be exported to Asia.

China is the main market for bauxite exports, currently accounting for 55.7 percent of global aluminium production in September.
